ActionDog Ltd (www.actiondog.net) aims to achieve, innovate and create.  We first developed audio-visual software for the education market in October 2000. Our ground breaking software product Cinematrix was originally commissioned as the music solution for a government pilot project in Hackney.

We have upgraded Cinematrix and added new products (such as Loopomatrix and Partymatrix) and educational, consumer and corporate services. Our software and services offer clients quality innovative digital audio-visual experiences.

Tim Barklem and Lulie Biggs, the directors of ActionDog, have successfully steered the company through six years of business growth. At crucial times in the course of our growth HBV Enterprise have come to the rescue. The first time was in 2002 when we needed working capital. Our bank was reluctant to increase our facility. Through word of mouth a business colleague suggested HBV. HBV listened to our dilemma and in due course provided us with the funds to carry through our ideas.

More recently we had to find new premises at very short notice. Again, we needed a quick cash injection, which we were unable to find through the regular routes. A quick phone call to HBV and our minds were again soon put at rest. They listened carefully to the situation and promised to respond within the very short space of time that was being imposed both on us and indeed on them. An urgent meeting was called and we were able to freely discuss our plans and needs. We went ahead and applied for the much needed cash through the ‘Access to Finance’ programme.

The whole process was dealt with both efficiently and quickly. This helped us to make our office move with the minimum of fuss. Without HBV’s help and advice this would not have been possible and our business would indeed have suffered a setback. Our association with HBV has been rewarding from a financial and business growth perspective, and given us the chance to move into an exciting business area and creative environment and increase our business prospects.

We then built on the situation and found new local business partners. This increased our business profile. HBV have offered ongoing business advice to help us prepare for the next stage in our company’s growth. We have built and enjoy a close working relationship with HBV. This supports and inspires our company to look forward to the future.
