HBV has been advising businesses from its community base in Hackney for 26 years. We offer a full range of support for micro, small and medium sized firms (who may have profit or social aims) and work with start-ups as well as enterprises that are already trading.

Start your Business
There are four simple steps to getting an enterprise up and running with free confidential support from HBV; 1. Register with us, 2. Find out what it takes at our Seminar, 3. Fund your Business
We advise everyone in buisness or going into business to raise at least some of the cash they need themselves before they seek finance. This is because they will be disadvantaged if they cannot show a potential lender that they are taking some of the risk themselves. All affordable lenders, HBV included, will expect you to take some risk personally.

We work mainly with existing business to help them raise the finance they need to grow. Many can't find all the funding they need to give their new or existing business the best chance of success. HBV Enterprise has a great service for existing small firms. The HBV Business Review, currently free of charge to members of Hackney Enterprise Network, is the place to start your plan for growth, and once you're in The Network, we have lots of other ways to help.
