HBV & The Environment

We have been committed to responsible action on green issues for several years now. Some of the ways we do this are as follows:-

HBV was the first government-approved Enterprise Agency to achieve 'Green Mark', an environmental award for small and medium sized firms, in 2005. "Being green" has saved us money, and our award assessor praised our level of commitment to the environment.

There are also business opportunities in the green sector.

Our 'New Markets for Hackney Enterprise' project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered in conjunction with Hackney Enterprise Network, offers Network members the chance to look at how they might benefit from environmental advice. By doing all of these things, we can raise awareness and ask all our clients to think about the issues. In this way, we aim to make a difference to the environment and how local people do business.
